Use this tool to generate metronome files for Conductor's Beat Metronome. The way to create a click track using the file and a special set of commands is great for a computer person like me, but it might be a little daunting for someone who's not too computer saavy. Or a band director Just input a starting tempo and get started. The human-readable code is on the left, while the code that you need to copy and paste into a text editor (like Notepad) is on the left. You can't fix your mistakes yet, so be careful. If you do, you can always change the line that you messed up on after the copy and paste.
When you use the "add rit./accel." button, the tempo change will take affect the measure after you click the button.
I recommend learning the simple "language" and inputting it yourself--it's a lot faster. You can find out in the tutorial.
After you are done, open up Notepad. Copy and paste the code in the right box into Notepad. Save that file as whatever you want in the directory you saved the Conductor's Beat program in. Now, start up the Conductor's Beat program. Type in the file name that you just saved as the "input file name". Then, put the name of whatever you want the sound file to be called. Name it with a .wav extension. The program should then finish and you should have a new sound file in that folder.
